Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Computer & Robotics Teacher to introduce students of Classes 3 and 4 to the exciting world of computers, coding, robotics, and technology.
The teacher will conduct hands-on, activity-based classes that encourage students to learn through experimentation, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young children and be able to make technology simple, engaging, and fun.
Key Responsibilities1. Computer Education
- Teach basic computer concepts and digital skills appropriate for Classes 3–4.
- Introduce students to:
- Computer hardware and peripherals
- Operating systems and basic file management
- Keyboard and mouse skills
- Internet and digital safety
- Basic productivity tools
- Conduct practical computer activities and projects.
2. Coding & Programming
- Introduce students to block-based programming using platforms such as Scratch, ScratchJr, PictoBlox, or similar tools.
- Teach fundamental programming concepts:
- Sequences
- Events
- Loops
- Conditions
- Variables
- Basic problem-solving
- Develop simple games, animations, stories, and interactive projects.
3. Robotics
- Conduct hands-on robotics activities suitable for primary students.
- Introduce concepts such as:
- What is a robot?
- Sensors and actuators
- Motors and movement
- Simple electronic circuits
- Robot programming
- Basic automation
- Guide students in building and programming simple robots.
- Conduct robotics challenges and mini-projects to encourage creativity and teamwork.
4. Classroom Management
- Maintain an engaging and positive learning environment.
- Ensure safe and responsible use of computers, electronic components, and robotics kits.
- Manage students effectively during hands-on activities.
- Encourage collaboration, curiosity, and experimentation.
5. Lesson Planning & Assessment
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and practical projects.
- Follow the school's prescribed curriculum and academic calendar.
- Assess students through practical activities, projects, quizzes, and classroom participation.
- Maintain student progress records.
6. Competitions & Projects
- Prepare and mentor students for robotics, coding, AI, and STEM competitions.
- Organize demonstrations, exhibitions, and project showcases.
- Encourage students to participate in school-level STEM activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed./D.Ed. or teaching qualification is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant robotics/coding certifications may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of computers and programming.
- Familiarity with Scratch/PictoBlox or similar block-based programming platforms.
- Basic understanding of robotics, electronics, sensors, and motors.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple manner to young children.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Creative, patient, enthusiastic, and student-friendly approach.
Preferred Skills
Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:
- Arduino
- Micro:bit
- LEGO Education / similar educational robotics platforms
- Scratch / ScratchJr
- PictoBlox
- Tinkercad
- Basic electronics
- STEM/STEAM project development
- Robotics or coding competitions

Working Environment
The teacher will work in a Computer/Robotics/STEM Laboratory and conduct practical, project-based learning sessions with primary-school students.
Experience
Freshers with strong technical skills and a passion for teaching may apply.
Preferred:
1–3 years of experience teaching Computer Science, Coding, Robotics, or STEM to primary-school students.
Compensation
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
