Job Title: Interior Design Project Engineer (10+ Years Experience)About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interior Design Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience managing interior fit-out projects from planning through execution, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of interior design and fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to quality and safety standards.
- Prepare project plans, progress reports, and cost estimates.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in interior fit-out/project engineering.
- Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and other relevant project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial, corporate, retail, hospitality, or residential interior projects.
- PMP or other project management certification is an advantage.
