Role Summary
The Lead Designer will own the quality, consistency, and executive polish of client-facing sales deliverables, including pitch decks, RFP responses, proposal assets, one-pagers, infographics, and executive summaries. The role requires strong visual storytelling, deep PowerPoint expertise, design-system thinking, and the ability to partner with Sales Enablement, Pre-Sales, Engagement, and consulting teams under tight timelines. This position is a backfill for an existing role and is expected to strengthen delivery quality without adding incremental headcount cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enhance high-impact pitch decks, RFP responses, proposals, executive presentations, and client-facing materials.
- Translate rough, ambiguous, or incomplete inputs into polished, structured, and client-ready visual narratives.
- Create and maintain reusable PowerPoint templates, slide libraries, visual assets, design systems, and brand-compliant layouts.
- Standardize client deliverables across engagement teams using brand guidelines, layouts, iconography, charts, and visual hierarchy.
- Partner closely with Sales Enablement, Pre-Sales, Engagement, and consulting stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.
- Review deliverables for consistency, grammar, alignment, chart/table accuracy, accessibility, readability, and final QA readiness.
- Improve design maturity across teams by introducing reusable components, guidelines, governance practices, and quality standards.
- Manage design intake, prioritization, review cycles, stakeholder feedback, and delivery risks during peak-demand periods.
- Support thought leadership assets, infographics, one-pagers, executive summaries, and before/after improvement examples.
Mandatory Skills
- Advanced presentation and visual storytelling skills for pitch decks, RFP responses, and executive/client-facing materials.
- Strong command of PowerPoint, design systems, templates, slide libraries, and reusable visual assets.
- Ability to standardize client deliverables using brand guidelines, layouts, iconography, charts, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience partnering with Sales Enablement, Pre-Sales, Engagement, and consulting teams under tight timelines.
- Quality ownership, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and ability to handle peak-demand delivery pressure.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or equivalent design tools.
- Exposure to B2B technology, SaaS, consulting, or enterprise services proposal design.
- Ability to create thought leadership material, infographics, one-pagers, and executive summaries.
- Knowledge of accessibility, brand governance, and scalable template systems.
- Basic understanding of sales cycles, RFP processes, and proposal response workflows.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise pitch decks, RFP responses, proposal assets, and before/after examples of improved deliverables.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, absorb ambiguous inputs, and convert them into polished client-ready narratives.
- Demonstrated capacity to create reusable templates/guidelines and improve consistency across teams rather than only producing one-off designs.
- Strong ownership mindset, reliability, growth mindset, and ability to reduce delivery risk during high-volume periods.
