We are looking for an energetic and result-driven Business Development Officer to expand our client base and drive business growth at our Calicut office.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and client meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Present company services and solutions effectively to potential clients.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with leads and prospects.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client servicing.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into clients.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business activities when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, branding, digital solutions, or service-based industries.
- Local market knowledge of Calicut/Kerala business landscape.
- Existing professional network in the region is an advantage.
