Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and production-focused Trimming Supervisor to manage trimming operations in our forging department for the manufacturing of hand tools such as spanners and wrenches. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, proper trimming quality, machine/tooling management, manpower utilization, and adherence to safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily trimming operations and ensure achievement of production targets.
- Manage trimming presses, dies, tools, and related equipment.
- Ensure proper trimming of forged components as per drawing and quality requirements.
- Monitor production quality and minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Allocate manpower and manage shift-wise production activities.
- Coordinate with Forging, Tool Room, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
- Identify and resolve trimming-related production and tooling issues.
- Ensure proper die setting, tool condition, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records, rejection reports, and shift reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workplace standards.
Qualification & Experience
ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in forging, trimming, press shop, or handtool manufacturing.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
