Job Summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling cattle feed products within the assigned territory. The role involves developing strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, dairy farmers, and livestock owners while achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for cattle feed products.
- Develop and maintain a strong dealer and distributor network within the assigned territory.
- Identify and acquire new customers, including dairy farms, livestock farmers, and institutional buyers.
- Conduct regular market visits to retailers, dealers, and farmers to generate sales and strengthen customer relationships.
- Promote product benefits through field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and awareness programs.
- Provide technical guidance on cattle nutrition, feeding practices, and product usage to customers.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotional schemes, and market trends.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy outstanding balances.
- Prepare daily call reports, sales reports, market intelligence reports, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability and deliveries.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implement company sales and promotional campaigns effectively.
- Maintain accurate customer records and territory data using CRM or reporting systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant sales experience in cattle feed, animal nutrition, veterinary products, agri-inputs, or FMCG is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and field marketing skills may also be considered.

- Knowledge of cattle nutrition and dairy farming practices.

- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM software).
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid driving license (preferred).

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹41,008.34 per month
