Job Title: Welding and Coating Supervisor (Two Vacancies)
Location: Ahmedabad
Reports To: Manager
About the role
We’re looking for a detail‑oriented supervisor who can read drawings, set up equipment, and lay down processes in line with the quality and productivity requirements. He/She will have to guide the welders/coaters in executing the jobs. Ensure all resources are always ready for use and well utilized.
Key responsibilities
· Interpret sketches, blueprints, and specs to understand customer requirements.
· Support setting up of various machines / fixtures etc... to complete the execution of jobs safely and on time in line with customer requirements.
· Be the link between the Manager and Skill workers for day-to-day operation.
· Perform routine maintenance on machines and fixtures.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
· High school plus Diploma (Mechanical).
· Proven 2‑5 years supervisory experience in managing a production shop where welding and fabrication were the major activities.
· Command over mathematics and understanding of measuring equipment etc...
· Ability to read technical drawings and weld symbols.
· Strong attention to detail and a pleasing personality.
· Good problem‑solving skills and a team‑player mindset.
· Working knowledge of English.
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
