Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automation coverage.
- Develop and maintain reusable, scalable, and reliable automated test scripts.
- Perform UI and API automation using modern tools and frameworks.
- Contribute to contract testing activities to validate service interactions and integrations.
- Identify technical issues, dependencies, and risks, and communicate them clearly to project stakeholders.
- Participate in defect triage, regression testing, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain test documentation, execution evidence, and related quality records.
- Review test cases, automation code, and associated test artifacts to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support timely and high-quality software delivery.
- Continuously improve automation practices by adopting standards, best practices, and maintainable design approaches.
What You Need to Succeed
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices. Experience working in agile environments.
- Strong test automation background.
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, and clean code principles.
- Experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Hands-on experience in API testing.
- Proven track record of requirement analysis, test design and defect management.
- Ability to create clean, reusable, and maintainable automation code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Nice to have skills
- Knowledge of Laboratory domain / Automated Chemistry systems.
- Knowledge of testing in connected systems.
- Exposure to or experience in contract testing.
- Exposure to or experience in non-functional testing (Compatibility, Performance, Security, Accessibility).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration into delivery workflows.
- ISTQB or similar certification.
