Job Summary:
The Planning Executive / Planning Engineer is responsible for production planning, monitoring daily production activities, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring timely completion of projects/orders. Knowledge of Jira Software is mandatory for tracking tasks, production schedules, and workflow management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Design, and Quality departments.
- Monitor production progress and update status in Jira Software.
- Create and track tasks, deadlines, and work schedules through Jira.
- Ensure timely completion of customer orders/projects.
- Maintain production planning reports and MIS reports.
- Follow up for material availability with Stores and Purchase departments.
- Identify production delays and coordinate for corrective actions.
- Maintain manpower planning and machine utilization records.
- Monitor work orders, dispatch schedules, and pending activities.
- Prepare production schedules according to project priorities.
- Ensure proper documentation and data updating in the system.
- Coordinate with site and factory teams for smooth workflow.
- Support management with planning analysis and productivity reports.
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of Jira Software is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of furniture manufacturing process.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Problem-solving and reporting skills.
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.Tech / Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in Furniture Manufacturing Planning preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
