We are looking for a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our hotel maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine electrical maintenance, attending electrical complaints, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all electrical systems and equipment within the hotel while maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Attend and resolve electrical complaints from guest rooms and common areas.
- Install, repair, and replace electrical fixtures such as lights, switches, sockets, fans, and circuit breakers.
- Assist in preventive maintenance of generators, electrical panels, pumps, motors, and HVAC electrical components.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply by monitoring electrical systems.
- Identify electrical faults and carry out basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Follow hotel safety policies and electrical safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Engineering/Maintenance team for daily maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician or a related electrical trade.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience as an Electrician, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, lighting systems, electrical panels, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
