Job Title: Estimation Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for PEB and structural steel projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, material estimation, costing, tender evaluation, and preparation of commercial proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Study architectural, structural, and PEB drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed BOQ and quantity take-offs for PEB structures.
- Calculate quantities of primary and secondary structural members, roofing, cladding, accessories, and other materials.
- Prepare accurate material and weight estimates for PEB projects.
- Prepare project-wise cost estimates and quotations.
- Analyze material, fabrication, transportation, erection, and other project costs.
- Review tender documents, client requirements, and scope of work.
- Coordinate with the Design, Sales, Procurement, Production, and Project teams.
- Obtain and compare material rates from vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare rate analysis and ensure competitive pricing.
- Identify discrepancies, exclusions, and commercial risks in tender documents.
- Assist the Sales/Business Development team in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
- Revise estimates based on client requirements and design changes.
- Maintain estimation records, costing sheets, and project databases.
- Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within the required deadline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
- Good knowledge of PEB and structural steel buildings.
- Experience in PEB estimation, quantity surveying, or steel structure estimation preferred.
- Good understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, costing, and rate analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Software Skills
- MS Excel – Strong knowledge required.
- AutoCAD.
- ERP/Estimation software, if applicable.
- Knowledge of PEB estimation software will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good knowledge of steel and PEB materials.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Experience
Experience: 2–6 years in PEB / Structural Steel Estimation preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
