QUALIFICATION : MBBS / MD
EXPERIENCE : 1 YEAR & MORE
DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key areas of responsibility:
1. To provide expert consultation and manage all patients related to non surgical disorder within Medicine.
2. Document & review patient’s history.
3. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent any kind of medical ailments of the patient.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records about each patient, including observations during examinations
5. Interaction with patient attendants to brief them about current status, anticipated recovery and any other specific issues or problems.
6. Prescribe medication or therapy when necessary and explain all medical procedures thoroughly
7. Consult with other specialist doctors about the patient’s specific needs on SOS basis.
8. Direct the work to nurses, residents & other staff to provide patient care and taking patient round Morning & Evening.
9. Resuscitating and stabilizing patients in the emergency department as member of code blue team/ to come to see the patient when emergency arise at any time of the day & night.
10. Remain up-to-date with developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences and seminars also to take part in all regular CMEs.
11. Should be willing to work in a multi disciplinary team.
12. Understand responsibility pertaining to hospital codes.
13. Help in providing medical care for patient coming to emergency department.
14. Must be familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation process, give training to clinical staff.
15. To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices, familiar with NABH protocols.
16. To comply with patient safety policy.
17. To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
18. To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
19. Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
20. To be a part of the team involved in Hospital promotion activities inside & outside of the Hospital.
