JOB DESCRIPTION – ALL-PURPOSE RESTAURANT ASSISTANT

Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking All-Purpose Restaurant Assistant to support daily kitchen and service operations. This is a multi-functional role requiring flexibility across preparation, cooking assistance, serving, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Kitchen Preparation
- Washing, cutting, and preparing vegetables and ingredients
- Assisting in basic cooking tasks (dal, rice, sabji support)
- Maintaining mise-en-place for service hours
2. Roti & Basic Production Support
- Assisting in dough preparation
- Supporting tawa roti/paratha making (if trained)
3. Service & Plating
- Assembling thali/plates as per standard portions
- Serving customers efficiently at the counter
- Ensuring quick turnaround during peak hours
4. Hygiene & Cleaning
- Cleaning utensils, kitchen surfaces, and service area
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Proper waste disposal and organization
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dhaba, food stall, or restaurant preferred
- Willingness to perform multiple tasks (no fixed-role mindset)
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Discipline, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude
Working Conditions
- Full-day shift (10–12 hours)
- Monthly off (4 days)
- Meals provided

- Head Cook / Kitchen Supervisor
