About the Role
We are looking to hire a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join the data platform team. The
candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies and software
development. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining a scalable data platform
that supports the organization's data needs and work closely with analysts and other stakeholders to
enable data driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ETL processes
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all data systems
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to meet data needs
- Monitor and troubleshoot data platform issues
- Stay up-to-date with latest data engineering technologies and trends
- Automate data workflows and processes
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions
- Provide technicall support and guidance to team members
- Continuously improve data platform performance and reliability
- Implement data integration solutions for various data sources
- Develop and maintain data models and schemas
Qualifications and experience
- Graduation with Computer science, Data Science, Software programming
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Proficient in Python, Java or Scala, Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Experience with AWS, Familiarity with Spark or Kafka, Familiarity with redshift
- Familiarity with Tableau, - Familiarity with machine learning/AI, - Familiarity with Vertica
Location: Work from home
Timings: USA Shift IST 5-30pm to 2-30am
