Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to handle end-to-end accounting operations for a trading business. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting finalization, MIS reporting, and collections follow-up.
The candidate should be highly proficient in Excel and comfortable coordinating directly with the proprietor for financial reporting, follow-ups, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts
- Handle GST filing, TDS compliance, and statutory requirements
- Prepare Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and financial reports
- Perform account finalization and reconciliation activities
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial insights to management
- Follow up on collections, outstanding payments, and receivables
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, vendors, and clients when required
- Support proprietor in financial planning and administrative coordination
- Maintain accounting records, invoices, and documentation properly
- Ensure timely compliance with taxation and financial deadlines
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST & TDS
- Experience in Finalization of Accounts
- Good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet preparation
- Strong hands-on experience in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS reporting, formulas, etc.)
- Experience in collections follow-up and receivables management
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with ownership
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Trading Industry preferred
- Hands-on and practical accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working directly with business owners/proprietor
- Ability to manage both accounting and administrative responsibilities
