Position Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across all clinic/hospital areas. The role includes supervising housekeeping staff, monitoring cleaning standards, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.Supervise, guide, and coordinate housekeeping staff across all shifts.
- Conduct daily inspections of rooms, clinics, washrooms, common areas, and facility premises.
- Ensure cleaning standards meet quality, safety, and infection-control guidelines.
- Assign tasks, create duty rosters, and manage attendance.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Train staff on proper cleaning methods, chemical usage, safety, and hygiene practices.
- Report maintenance issues to the Facilities/Operations team.
- Handle staff performance issues, conflicts, and discipline if required.
- Ensure proper waste disposal as per clinic and municipal guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, stock usage, and inspections.
- Support in coordinating deep cleaning and periodic sanitization activities.
