Role & Responsibilities:
1. Supervise Daily Operations:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the body shop.
- Ensure timely and efficient repair work on vehicles (denting, painting, refinishing).
- Ensure adherence to company and industry standards for quality and safety.
2. Car Painting & Denting Supervision:
- Supervise all car painting and denting activities.
- Ensure all repairs are performed with attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Ensure proper use of painting materials, tools, and techniques.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Lead and manage a team of body shop technicians.
- Provide training, mentorship, and support to technicians.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Ensure the team adheres to safety standards and follows proper repair techniques.
4. Customer Interaction & Satisfaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding repair status and updates.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally.
- Ensure customer expectations are met in terms of repair timelines, costs, and quality.
5. Quality Control:
- Inspect all vehicles before and after repairs to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Perform quality control checks to minimize errors and rework.
- Ensure repairs meet both aesthetic and safety standards.
6. Inventory & Supply Management:
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of parts, tools, and materials.
- Ensure stock levels are sufficient, and order supplies as needed to avoid downtime.
- Maintain records of all parts used in repairs.
7. Monitor and Report Performance:
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) such as repair timelines, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
- Provide reports to management on team performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in body shop or automotive repair, with expertise in painting, denting, and refinishing.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and mentoring technicians.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and the team.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the automotive repair environment.
- Graduation in any field (preferably engineering or automotive-related).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
