Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled PCB Wave Soldering Technician to operate, maintain, and monitor wave soldering equipment used in PCB assembly. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality solder joints, maintaining process parameters, and supporting production targets while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor wave soldering machines for PCB assembly production.
- Set up and adjust machine parameters such as conveyor speed, solder temperature, wave height, and flux settings.
- Load and unload PCBs for wave soldering operations.
- Perform pre-soldering and post-soldering inspections to ensure product quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot soldering defects such as bridges, insufficient solder, cold joints, icicles, and skips.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of wave soldering equipment.
- Monitor solder pot conditions and maintain solder levels as per process requirements.
- Ensure proper flux application and preheating settings.
- Coordinate with SMT, Production, and Quality teams to resolve process-related issues.
- Maintain production records, machine logs, and quality documentation.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance yield and reduce defects.
- Follow IPC standards, ESD practices, and company safety procedures.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
