Job Summary
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, dispatch activities, logistics coordination, and team performance. The role ensures efficient storage, order fulfillment, timely deliveries, and compliance with company policies while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Optimize warehouse space and storage efficiency.
- Monitor stock movement and minimize inventory discrepancies.
Inventory Management
- Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counts.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through ERP/POS systems.
- Investigate stock shortages, damages, and variances.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for stock replenishment.
Logistics & Dispatch
- Plan daily delivery schedules and vehicle allocation.
- Coordinate with drivers and transport partners.
- Ensure timely loading, dispatch, and delivery of goods.
- Monitor vehicle utilization and transportation costs.
- Resolve delivery-related issues promptly.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, pickers, packers, loaders, and logistics personnel.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
- Train employees on SOPs, safety, and operational standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvements.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Maintain warehouse security and prevent stock losses.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and operational readiness.
Reporting
- Prepare daily and monthly operational reports.
- Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, dispatch turnaround time, order fulfillment, and delivery performance.
- Report operational challenges and recommend process improvements.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
