Art Dealer / Art Sales Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven Art Dealer / Art Sales Executive with a passion for fine art and a proven ability to identify potential buyers, build strong client relationships, and successfully close sales. The ideal candidate is confident in networking with collectors, interior designers, corporate clients, art enthusiasts, and high-net-worth individuals to promote and sell original artworks.
This is a target-oriented role with an attractive performance-based incentive structure for high achievers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential buyers, art collectors, corporate clients, interior designers, hotels, architects, and other prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Present and promote artworks professionally through meetings, exhibitions, online platforms, and networking events.
- Understand client preferences and recommend suitable artworks.
- Negotiate pricing and successfully close sales.
- Achieve a minimum sales target of 10 artworks per month.
- Maintain a database of prospects and follow up regularly to convert leads into sales.
- Coordinate with the internal team regarding artwork availability, pricing, and delivery.
- Represent the brand with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in art sales, luxury sales, gallery sales, or high-value product sales.
- Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into successful sales.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
- Knowledge of the art market and collector community is an advantage.
- Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is preferred.
Compensation & Incentives
- Competitive fixed salary (if applicable) plus attractive performance-based incentives.
- Additional commission on every successful sale.
- Incentives are paid on a percentage basis upon achieving or exceeding the monthly target of 10 artwork sales.
