Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Tata Ace Driver to handle pickup and delivery of goods safely and on time. The candidate should have good knowledge of local routes, transport procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport goods safely to customer locations, warehouses, airports, and transport hubs.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
- Verify delivery documents, invoices, e-way bills, and material quantity during loading and unloading.
- Maintain proper communication with the logistics/operations team.
- Ensure safe handling of cargo during transportation.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection and basic maintenance checks.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines.
- Report any vehicle issues, delays, or accidents immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid LMV / Commercial Driving License.
- Minimum [1–3] years of experience driving Tata Ace or similar commercial vehicles.
- Good knowledge of local city and industrial area routes.
- Ability to handle delivery documentation.
- Basic communication skills.
- Punctual, disciplined, and responsible attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in logistics or courier operations.
- Knowledge of airport cargo and warehouse locations.
- Familiarity with GPS and mobile navigation apps.
Working Hours:
As per company operations and delivery schedules.
Salary:
As per company standards and experience.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
