Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to oversee electrical engineering, execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities for infrastructure and building projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that electrical works are executed safely, efficiently, within budget and schedule, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute electrical works for infrastructure, commercial, institutional, and building projects.
- Review electrical drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, civil teams, MEP teams, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise installation of LT/HT systems, transformers, DG sets, electrical panels, cabling, lighting, earthing, and related systems.
- Monitor electrical work progress against project schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Review BOQs, material requirements, technical specifications, and quantity estimates.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for timely availability of electrical materials.
- Inspect materials and installations to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify technical issues at site and provide effective engineering solutions.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors and ensure adherence to approved drawings and work methodologies.
- Ensure electrical works comply with applicable IS standards, NBC requirements, electrical safety regulations, and statutory guidelines.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with relevant authorities and utility agencies wherever required.
- Prepare and review project reports, progress reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project costs and support effective cost control and resource utilization.
- Ensure proper preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, wherever applicable.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety procedures and electrical safety practices.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide technical inputs to management.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and site electrical teams.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Good understanding of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG systems, APFC panels, MCC/PCC panels, UPS, lighting, earthing, and cable systems.
- Knowledge of electrical load calculations and power distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and specifications.
- Knowledge of electrical estimation and material planning.
- Strong knowledge of project execution and contractor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant electrical design/project software.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and statutory compliances.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution with C licence.
- Additional certifications in project management, electrical safety, or relevant technical areas will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
