Breeze Rehab Centre is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to provide quality medical care to rehabilitation, post-operative, neurological, and critical care patients. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to respond promptly to medical emergencies while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Medical Council registration.
- 0–3 years of clinical experience (Freshers with strong clinical knowledge are welcome to apply).
- Good knowledge of emergency medicine and patient management.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night duties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) is an added advantage.
- Commitment to patient safety and ethical medical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily assessment and clinical management of admitted patients.
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings accurately.
- Attend and manage medical emergencies promptly.
- Coordinate with consultants, physiotherapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans as per clinical protocols.
- Ensure timely documentation of patient records and discharge summaries.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
- Participate in ward rounds and implement consultant recommendations.
- Maintain infection control standards and hospital policies.
- Ensure smooth handover during shift changes.
