Position Summary
Saroj Super Speciality Hospital is looking for a skilled, proactive, and patient-focused Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) to manage emergency and casualty services efficiently while ensuring timely medical intervention and high standards of patient care. The Casualty Medical Officer will be responsible for initial assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, and coordination of emergency patients across all age groups.
The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical judgment, emergency handling capability, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities of Emergency & Casualty Management
- Attend and manage all patients presenting to the casualty/emergency department.
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and initial treatment of emergency cases.
- Handle medical emergencies including trauma, cardiac emergencies, stroke, poisoning, respiratory distress, and critical care cases.
- Coordinate emergency admissions, referrals, transfers, and consultant escalations.
- Ensure timely intervention and appropriate documentation for all casualty cases.
Clinical Patient Care
- Monitor patient condition and initiate immediate treatment protocols.
- Prescribe medications, investigations, and emergency procedures as clinically indicated.
- Coordinate with consultants, ICU, OT, radiology, pathology, and nursing teams for smooth patient management.
- Ensure continuity of care during patient transfers and admissions.
Emergency Procedures
- Perform emergency procedures such as intubation assistance, CPR, suturing, wound management, catheterization, and basic life support.
- Participate actively in code blue and emergency response situations.
- Ensure readiness and availability of emergency equipment and medications.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, casualty notes, medico-legal documentation, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and patient safety policies.
Patient & Attendant Communication
- Communicate effectively with patients and attendants regarding clinical condition and treatment plans.
- Maintain compassionate, ethical, and professional behavior in emergency situations.
- Support grievance handling and escalation management where required.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid DMC Delhi Medical Council registration.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
