Job Description & Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall deployment process. Your responsibilities will include managing cloud services, configuring and monitoring infrastructure, and implementing automation tools to support our software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to gather functional requirements and understand business processes related to building permits and approvals.
- Interpret building bye-laws, development control regulations, and apply them to functional workflows.
- Prepare comprehensive Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Use Case documents, and process flow diagrams.
- Coordinate with developers and technical teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
- Review system outputs and assist in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze CAD drawings and ensure alignment with system validation rules.
- Provide support during implementation, training, and post-deployment activities.
- Maintain clear communication between clients, project managers, and the development team.
Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for system efficiency.
Mandatory skill sets:
- Strong understanding of building bye-laws, DCR (Development Control Regulations), and approval procedures.
- Experience in preparing functional documents, BRDs, FRDs, and workflow diagrams.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze CAD drawings (AutoCAD skills preferred).
- Basic knowledge of software development processes (SDLC, Agile methodology is a plus).
- Exposure to municipal e-governance or building permit systems is an added advantage.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (client-facing role).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate complex client requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and handle timelines effectively.
