United States International Tax Consultant (Remote)
Location: Remote
Timings: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST
Compensation: ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month
About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated U.S. International Tax Consultant. This position is suited for attorneys with a strong interest in U.S. cross-border taxation and expertise in resolving complex U.S. international tax issues for both businesses and individuals. The selected candidate will address U.S. international tax matters, including inbound and outbound taxation, international tax planning, compliance, cross-border structuring, treaty analysis, and international information reporting.
The position requires advanced technical knowledge, strong legal writing skills, and the ability to independently analyze complex tax matters while collaborating with a global team. This remote position offers opportunities for professional development and exposure to advanced U.S. international tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on U.S. international tax laws affecting cross-border transactions. Research and evaluate complex U.S. international tax issues and prepare well-supported legal analyses.
- Assist clients with Inbound U.S. Tax matters.
- Assist clients with Outbound U.S. Tax matters.
- Conduct legal research involving the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, IRS guidance, tax treaties, and relevant case law.
- Draft technical tax opinions, legal analyses, client correspondence, and advisory reports. Review or prepare U.S. international tax compliance filings.
- Support U.S. tax planning projects involving multinational businesses, foreign-owned U.S. entities, and U.S. persons with foreign investments.
- Prepare technical articles, publications, and educational content on U.S. international tax developments.
- Stay current with legislative, regulatory, and IRS developments affecting U.S. international taxation.
Required Educational Qualifications:
- LL.M. or master’s in international taxation.
- Law degree with specialization in Tax or International Tax.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrolled Agent Certification.
- U.S. Certified Public Accountant.
- Required Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in U.S. International Tax.
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal tax law and related international tax principles. Working knowledge of Inbound and Outbound U.S. tax concepts.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex U.S. tax provisions and communicate practical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently while meeting deadlines.
