Key Responsibilities
Raw Material & Chemical Handling
- Receive incoming raw materials, chemicals, packing materials, and consumables; verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery challans
- Inspect materials for physical condition, labeling accuracy, and documentation completeness at the time of receipt
- Coordinate with QC/QA for sampling and release/rejection of incoming materials
- Ensure proper segregation of approved, quarantine, and rejected materials at all times
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records — both physical and system (bin cards / inventory registers / software)
- Conduct periodic stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile with system records
- Monitor minimum stock levels and raise indent/requisition to avoid production stoppages
- Manage FIFO / FEFO discipline for raw materials and chemicals to minimize wastage and expiry
Finished Goods & Dispatch
- Receive finished goods from production after QC clearance and update stock records accordingly
- Process dispatch documentation — delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, e-way bills — as directed
- Coordinate with logistics and transporter for timely and accurate dispatch of orders
- Maintain dispatch registers and ensure customer-wise dispatch records are up to date
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain all stores-related documents including GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), material issue slips, return notes, and rejection reports
- Ensure proper labeling of all materials in storage as per company and regulatory requirements
- Support internal audits, GMP inspections, and stock verification exercises
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or near-expiry materials to concerned departments promptly
General Housekeeping & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of the stores and warehouse area at all times
- Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals as per MSDS guidelines
- Follow all company health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies within the stores function
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
