Python Automation Engineer

Job details

Luxoft is looking for experienced testers who are experienced in Python and/or Shell automation testing.

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for Firmware, SoC validation, BIOS, and Linux drivers.

Plan, execute, and refine automation strategies aligned with program milestones and release cycles.

Collaborate with QA and validation teams to improve test coverage and ensure quality for embedded systems.

Manage build and packaging processes for BIOS, firmware, and Linux drivers.

Enable and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of embedded software components.

Must have

2-5y exp or upto 10y exp with framework development exp

Strong Python programming with hands-on experience in automation and framework development

Good understanding of Python OOP concepts and coding best practices

Experience in test automation and CI/CD workflows using Python, along with tools like Jenkins and GitHub

Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting

exposure to SoC validation as an added advantage

Nice to have

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
