Position Overview
Marikar Nissan is looking for a customer-focused and energetic Service Advisor to join our busy service team in Trivandrum. In this role, you will act as the primary link between our customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth service experience from vehicle drop-off to delivery while driving service sales and customer satisfaction (CSI).
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Reception: Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to vehicle concerns, conduct thorough walk-around inspections, and record accurate repair notes.
- Job Card Management: Open repair orders, prepare transparent cost estimates, and secure customer approvals before proceeding with work.
- Workshop Coordination: Coordinate closely with technicians and the floor supervisor to ensure timely servicing and quality repairs.
- Delivery & Explanation: Explain the billed invoice and completed repair work clearly to customers during vehicle delivery.
- Value-Added Services: Promote periodic maintenance packages, extended warranties, and value-added service (VAS) products to meet departmental targets.
- Follow-up: Conduct post-service follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and address any pending concerns.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automobile Service Advisor (experience with authorized passenger car dealerships is strongly preferred).
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Malayalam and English.
- Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems, maintenance, and basic repairs.
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and MS Office.
- High level of patience, problem-solving ability, and customer-centric attitude.
