Junior Video Editor @ Pluralis Digital
Not a "cut what's given to you" role. You're editing for feeds that move fast, attention spans that are shorter, and formats that change every quarter. If you're still thinking in terms of traditional TV-style editing, this isn't for you.
What you'll actually do
- Edit vertical-first content (Reels, Shorts) for our own brand and clients — fast turnaround, not perfectionist timelines
- Cut founder-led and on-camera talent content (talking-head, Q&A style, personality-driven)
- Work with AI editing/generation tools as part of your normal toolkit, not as a novelty — think CapCut AI, Premiere with AI-assisted cuts, Runway, ElevenLabs for voice/audio cleanup
- Build a repeatable editing style/template system, not one-off edits every time
- Add captions, motion text, sound design that actually holds attention in the first 3 seconds
What we want to see
- You already edit reels for fun or for someone (friends, editing pages, fan pages) — show us your feed, not just a resume
- You know the difference between "editing" and "making something scroll-stopping"
- Comfortable with fast iteration — 3 versions in a day beats 1 perfect version in a week
- Curious about new tools before we ask you to use them
- Familiar with Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve — doesn't have to be all three, doesn't have to be expert-level, just enough that you're not learning the interface on week one
What this isn't
- Not a "wait for instructions" desk job
- Not corporate motion graphics for a boring explainer video
- Not a one-person-does-everything role — you own editing, not strategy or shooting
Practical
- Location: Navi Mumbai, hybrid — mostly flexible, but expect on-ground days with the team wherever a shoot or client is
- Bring your own laptop — non-negotiable
- 3-month probation, converts to full-time based on how you perform, not how long you've stuck around
- Aiming for a 15th August start.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
