The Aesthetic Therapist is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality aesthetic treatments while ensuring excellent patient care and satisfaction. The role requires strong technical skills, adherence to clinical protocols, and a professional approach toward clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aesthetic treatments such as laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, facials, chemical peels, hydra facials, body contouring, and other non-invasive procedures as per training and certification
- Conduct client consultations, assess skin concerns, and recommend suitable treatments
- Explain treatment procedures, expected results, post-care instructions, and possible side effects to clients
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and sterilization as per clinic protocols
- Ensure proper documentation of client records, treatment plans, and consent forms
- Operate and maintain aesthetic equipment safely and report any technical issues
- Assist doctors or senior clinicians during procedures when required
- Follow clinic policies, SOPs, and ethical practices at all times
- Build strong relationships with clients and ensure a positive customer experience
- Upsell or cross-sell aesthetic services and products ethically when appropriate
Skills & Requirements
- Certification or diploma in Aesthetics / Cosmetology / Beauty Therapy
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Aesthetic Therapist (preferred)
- Good knowledge of skin types, skin conditions, and aesthetic technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and client-handling skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
- Attention to detail and strong hygiene standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical or dermatology-based aesthetic centers
- Hands-on experience with laser machines and advanced aesthetic equipment
- Knowledge of aftercare and skincare products
