Role OverviewThe SAP BW4HANA BW on HANA AMDP Consultant delivers high performance scalable analytics and data warehousing solutions on the SAP HANA platform The consultant partners with client business and IT teams to design and optimize SAP BW4HANA and BW on HANA solutions using HANA pushdown AMDP CDS based analytics and SAP Business Technology Platform BTP to enable seamless integration faster data availability and improved reporting performance
Skills Expertise
Strong hands on experience in SAP BW4HANA and BW on HANA
Minimum two end to end implementation
S4HANA Analytics leveraging CDS Views SAP HANA Cloud and SAP BW4HANA
Proven expertise in AMDP SQLScript and CDS Views development
In depth knowledge of HANA pushdown and performance optimization
Experience delivering scalable enterprise grade analytics solutions
Exposure to SAP BTP services supporting analytics and data management use cases
Strong ability to collaborate effectively across cross functional teams
SAP Certifications in the relevant areas are an additional benefit
Key Responsibilities
SAP BW4HANA BW on HANA Solution Delivery
Design and implement end to end SAP BW4HANA and BW on HANA solutions aligned with business requirements
Develop HANA optimized data models using ADSOs Composite Providers Open ODS Views Info Objects and CDS Views
Ensure lean scalable and future ready architectures following BW4HANA modeling best practices
AMDP CDS HANA Pushdown Development
Develop AMDP and SQLScript based logic for complex transformations and calculations
Leverage S4HANA CDS Views for data modeling and analytics enablement
Replace legacy ABAP routines with pushdown driven logic to improve load and query performance
Performance Integration Reliability
Optimize data models and queries using HANA native and BW4HANA techniques
Integrate BW with SAP ECC SAP S4HANA and non SAP data sources
Design robust delta mechanisms and support batch and near real time provisioning
Ensure stable high availability data pipelines and resolve performance bottlenecks
Support batch and near real time data provisioning scenarios
Strong knowledge in data load issues
Reporting Delivery Support
Enable analytics using BEx Queries and SAP Analysis for Office
Collaborate with business users to meet reporting and usability expectations
Prepare technical documentation and support UAT go live and post production stabilization
