Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, fire alarms, and other firefighting equipment.
- Ensure all fire safety equipment is accessible, functional, and properly maintained.
- Monitor compliance with fire safety rules, regulations, and company policies.
- Carry out fire risk assessments and identify potential fire hazards.
- Organize and participate in fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans.
- Ensure emergency exits, escape routes, and assembly points are clearly marked and unobstructed.
- Provide fire safety induction and awareness training to employees and contractors.
- Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with local fire authorities and emergency services when required.
- Maintain records of inspections, fire drills, training sessions, and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor hot work activities and ensure permit-to-work requirements are followed.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of flammable and combustible materials.
- Support Safety Officers and HSE teams in implementing safety initiatives.
- Respond promptly during fire emergencies and guide evacuation procedures.
- Conduct routine checks of fire alarm and detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with statutory fire safety requirements and standards.
- Promote fire prevention awareness throughout the workplace.
- Perform any other fire and safety-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Graduate in Fire & Safety, Fire Engineering, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of fire protection systems and emergency response procedures.
Experience:
- 6 months- 1 years of experience in fire safety, industrial safety, construction, manufacturing, or facility management.
Pay: ₹12,172.97 - ₹22,387.41 per month
Work Location: In person
