Job Description: Full Stack Python Software Engineer
We are seeking a Python Software Engineer to design and build AI-driven software systems for a fast-growing startup. This role focuses on data extraction, ETL pipelines, AI-centric data processing, and graph-based database management (Neo4j), with strong exposure to emerging paradigms in applied and agentic AI.
You will work across the full software development lifecycle—transforming raw data into intelligent systems—while collaborating closely with AI researchers, product leaders, and engineers to ship scalable, production-ready solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based AI software for data processing, reasoning, and rendering.
- Build and optimize data extraction and ETL pipelines from structured and unstructured sources.
- Architect and manage Neo4j graph databases, including schema design, query optimization, and relationship modeling.
- Develop backend services and APIs to support AI workflows, inference pipelines, and agentic systems.
- Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance systems suitable for startup growth.
- Collaborate on applied AI use cases, including LLM-powered features, intelligent agents, and automated reasoning systems.
- Rapidly adapt to emerging tools, frameworks, and research in AI and agent-based development.
- Participate in design reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing system maintenance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Python for production-grade software development.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering: ETL, pipelines, data validation, and transformation.
- Experience working with Neo4j or other graph databases (Cypher knowledge is a plus).
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and system scalability.
- Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines, LLM integrations, or applied AI systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in fast-moving startup environments.
- Curiosity and adaptability to evolving AI paradigms, especially agentic AI systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LLMs, vector databases, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Exposure to agent frameworks, orchestration tools, or autonomous workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Front-end or visualization experience for data or AI-driven rendering.
