Key responsibilities include cleaning rooms, changing bed linens, vacuuming, disinfecting bathrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. They require strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a customer-focused attitude. Core Responsibilities
- Guest Room Maintenance: Clean, dust, polish, and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures.
- Linens and Supplies: Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels, toiletries, and minibar items.
- Cleaning Procedures: Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, wash, and wax floors.
- Public Area Maintenance: Keep lobbies, hallways, and public restrooms clean and sanitary.
- Reporting and Safety: Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
- Guest Service: Respond promptly and politely to guest requests, such as delivering extra pillows or iron boards.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked cleaning cart.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, as well as stand or walk for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: High standard of cleanliness and organization.
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
