About Glory Shipmanagement
Glory Shipmanagement is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer (AHTS/DP) to join our offshore fleet and ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of vessel machinery and engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of all engine room machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, ISM Code, and statutory requirements.
- Plan and supervise preventive maintenance, repairs, and machinery overhauls.
- Maintain Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), technical records, and engine room documentation.
- Coordinate with Masters, Technical Superintendents, and shore management on technical and operational matters.
- Support vessel inspections, audits, surveys, and certifications.
- Ensure safe engineering practices and compliance with company HSE policies.
- Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns and provide technical support during emergencies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Sailing experience as Chief Engineer on AHTS/DP vessels.
- Strong knowledge of marine engines, auxiliary machinery, DP vessel operations, and Planned Maintenance Systems.
- Experience with ISM Code, Class, Flag State, and statutory compliance.
- Strong leadership, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.
- Candidates residing in or around Vashi / Navi Mumbai, or within a convenient commuting distance from our office, will be preferred.
