ICE CREAM PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Role:-
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of ice cream production equipment: mixers, pasteurizers, homogenizers, freezers, filling & packing machines
- troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues in plant machinery
- Ensure minimum downtime through timely repairs and spare parts management
- Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, and calibration of equipment
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and equipment history records
- Coordinate with production team to plan maintenance during non-production hours
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and workplace safety standards
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery
Eligibility
- ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in FMCG / Dairy / Ice Cream / Food Processing plant maintenance
- Strong knowledge of utilities: ammonia refrigeration, compressors, boilers, pumps, motors
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems preferred
- Must follow hygiene, food safety & GMP practices
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns
Salary - Negotiable (based on experience & skills)
