We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our Special Accounts team. This critical role involves overseeing a portfolio of complex, high-risk, or strategically important accounts that require specialized attention and management. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Special Accounts executives, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring individual and team targets are met.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for the effective management and resolution of a portfolio of special accounts, including distressed assets, high-value clients requiring specific attention, or accounts with complex financial structures.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessments, and due diligence on special accounts to identify potential issues and formulate appropriate action plans.
- Negotiate and structure repayment plans, settlements, or other resolution strategies with clients, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with legal, credit, collections, and other internal departments to ensure a coordinated approach to account management and resolution.
- Monitor account performance, identify early warning signs of deterioration, and proactively implement corrective measures.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and resolution progress for senior management.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant internal policies, external regulations, and legal requirements pertaining to special accounts management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices within the special accounts department.
- Handle escalated client issues and complex account queries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and review of special accounts policies and procedures.
