Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on project requirements
- Coordinate manpower, machines, materials, and tools for fabrication activities
- Monitor production output and ensure targets are achieved
- Minimize downtime and improve workflow efficiency
- Supervise fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly
- Ensure drawings, WPS, and specifications are followed accurately
- Optimize fabrication methods to reduce cost and cycle time
- Support new product or project setup and trial runs
- Ensure fabrication meets quality standards, codes, and customer specifications
- Coordinate with Quality Control for inspections and corrective actions
- Implement and enforce safety procedures on the shop floor
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and rework
- Coordinate with Design/Engineering for drawing clarifications and revisions
- Work closely with Procurement and Stores for material availability
- Support Project and Planning teams for delivery commitments
- Prepare production reports and performance metrics
- Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and productivity improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and material wastage
- Support process automation and technology upgrades
