Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing medical procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients? vital signs and overall health
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist in diagnostic procedures and provide patient education
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills and Tools Required:
- Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited institution
- Valid nursing license in the relevant state or country
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to patient care
