Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and skilled Staff Nurse to provide quality patient care, assist doctors during consultations and procedures, and ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients according to their medical needs.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and health conditions.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors during consultations, minor procedures, and clinical examinations.
- Perform wound dressing, IV cannulation, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Collect and label samples as per laboratory procedures when required.
- Ensure proper infection control, hygiene, and patient safety standards.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding medications, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the nursing area and equipment.
- Handle emergency situations appropriately and inform the doctor immediately.
- Follow hospital/clinic policies, protocols, and professional nursing standards.
Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-friendly attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of emergency care.
- Good clinical and patient-care skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
Experience
0–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Salary
As per experience and clinic standards.
