The Medical Advisor leads the execution of communication plans and marketing strategies that promote medical science. Provides assistance and direction on guidelines for new product development. Possesses a detailed understanding of molecules which may impact the organization's brands. Key Responsibilities: Medical / Medico marketing Affairs a. Provide scientific inputs to help create brand inputs and towards design and execution of medical marketing activities/clinical programs b. Initiate and/or review and/or approve promotional, training, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) material in compliance with relevant SOPs/regulations/industry codes/working practices c. Participate/facilitate/conduct customized promotional/educational interactions with Health Care Professionals. These interactions include, but are not limited to, customer launch meetings, advisory boards, CME programs, scientific symposia, institutional presentations, GDM’s, RTD’s etc. d. To advise Marketing team in the preparation of training material e. To build and develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and other key external customers. f. Initiate post-launch clinical trials/studies (PMS / User Trials) to improve the commercial impact of existing products and KOL linkages g. Deliver scientific presentations to KOLs and/or leading clinical units ? New Product Development a. To identify new molecule in coordination with Regional Heads/Country Managers to be developed In-house for the business growth of international SBU b. To take care of New products development process and closely monitor the same with FND, technical team & RA c. To decide the new dossiers for existing & new countries in close coordination with RH/CM's d. Help New Product launches with pre-commercialization scientific activities. ? RA a. To share dossier related developments & updates with various RH's/CM'S & RA b. To facilitate new product registration & Re registration in operational countries c. Provide inputs to RA like PSUR, SmPC, clinical equivalence study, scientific articles and other articles to help prepare dossiers & registration. d. Provide medical direction for Phase studies and related projects e. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and internal company procedures f. Support Clinical Research teams where necessary Sales Force Training a. Visiting / Travelling to various destinations and provide medical training to existing & new sales staff on basic sciences/ Therapy Areas/assigned products. b. Provide scientific support and refresher training to sales staff through ongoing training initiatives c. Provide pre-launch and launch training to sales staff for new products. Pharmacovigilance - PvG a. Leading Pharmacovigilance team to ensure proper working of PvG department in compliance with various regulatory requirements b. Visiting / Travelling to various destinations and provide PvG training to existing & new sales staff on basic & advancement in PvG
