QC Engineer
Job Description:
- Testing & Inspection
- Perform power and continuity testing on manufactured panels.
- Inspect wiring and other components of ready panels.
- Ensure the quality and functionality of panels by performing panel power testing and continuity checks.
- Identify any issues in panels, particularly wiring or design discrepancies, and take appropriate actions for correction.
- Issue Identification & Correction
- Prepare internal inspection sheets for any problems identified during testing.
- If the issue is due to wiring errors, ensure immediate rectification on the spot.
- If issues are identified from the design side, collaborate with the design engineer to rectify them and update the drawings accordingly.
- Documentation & Certification
- Prepare necessary documentation, such as QC certificates, fabrication inspection reports, panel testing reports, and test certificates.
- Ensure the inclusion of key documents like the operating manual of drives, powder coating certification, and thickness certificates in the dispatch documents.
- Panel Fabrication Inspection
- Follow up with fabricators to schedule inspections of the fabrication panels.
- Visit the fabricator’s location for panel inspections, ensuring measurements such as height, width, depth, and thickness match the fabrication drawing.
- Guide the fabricator on internal mounting arrangements as per the drawings or based on experience.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, mentioning internal mounting arrangements and any required rework.
- Rework & Final Inspection
- Conduct rework on fabrication panels at the premises when necessary.
- Inspect the fabrication panel when it arrives at the production facility for final checks.
Material Handling & Coordination
- Collect and verify materials against the BOM and provide them to the wireman or contractor when the production engineers are unavailable.
- Maintain and update the pending material list, following up with the respective production engineers as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols during testing and inspection.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide training and guidance to the junior engineer to enhance their inspection and testing skills.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate the testing and inspection processes and suggest improvements for more efficient and accurate results.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
