- Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses in newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Conduct outpatient (OPD) consultations and inpatient ward rounds.
- Assess growth, development, and nutritional status of children.
- Manage neonatal and paediatric emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Provide care for newborns, including neonatal assessment and stabilization.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic paediatric illnesses.
- Prescribe medications and treatments according to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Admit, discharge, and prepare comprehensive medical records and discharge summaries.
- Perform routine paediatric procedures as per competency and hospital policy.
- Provide immunization services according to the National Immunization Schedule and hospital protocols.
- Counsel parents and caregivers regarding child health, nutrition, growth, development, vaccination, and preventive care.
- Identify and manage developmental delays and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Participate in emergency duties, including neonatal and paediatric resuscitation.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation in patient medical records.
- Maintain infection prevention and control practices.
- Comply with hospital policies, NABH standards, patient safety protocols, and ethical medical practices.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
- Conduct health education programs for patients and families.
- Supervise Junior Doctors, Medical Officers, Residents, and Interns where applicable.
- Participate in teaching, academic activities, CMEs, seminars, and case presentations.
- Attend on-call duties, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per departmental roster.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the HOD or hospital management.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
