As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project requirements, ensuring that software solutions align with organizational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective software products that support business operations and enhance user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of software solutions that meet project objectives and timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.
Designs and develops end-to-end web applications including responsive UIs, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and cloud deployments. Optimizes performance across the full stack, implements security best practices, writes comprehensive tests, and conducts code reviews. Collaborates with Product Owners, UX designers, and QA through Agile ceremonies to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with back-end development using Java and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
React/ Angular/ Vue.js, Node.Js/ Python/ Java/ .Net, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices
Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript React, Angular, or Vue.js
Back-end: Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET
Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server (relational) MongoDB, Redis (NoSQL)
RESTful & GraphQL API development
CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
Cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP Docker & Kubernetes
Auth & security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, input validation, encryption
Testing: unit, integration, end-to-end frameworks
Performance optimization across full stack
Design patterns, OOP, data structures & algorithms
Experience in pharma/healthcare
Master's in CS/Software Engineering
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
