The position requires a candidate who is comfortable both in the customer's purchase office and on the shop floor, and who can convert technical understanding of forgings and machined components into commercial results.

- Visit customer plants and purchase offices regularly to review requirements, resolve issues and identify new business opportunities.
- Identify and develop new customers and new part enquiries within the assigned territory.

- Monitor pending order status and drive on-time delivery performance with PPC and Production.
- Coordinate with Dispatch and Logistics for timely material despatch, documentation and delivery confirmation.
- Communicate schedule changes, shortages or delays to the customer proactively, with a corrective action plan.

- Follow up with customers for timely payment against invoices and keep outstandings within agreed credit terms.
- Reconcile customer accounts with the Accounts department and resolve deduction, debit note and short-payment issues.
- Escalate ageing receivables and hold-ups to management with a clear recovery plan.
3.4 New Product Development (NPD) Coordination
- Coordinate between the customer and KNL Engineering for new part development — drawings, specifications, revisions and technical clarifications.
- Track NPD milestones including sample submission, PPAP / documentation, trials, approvals and regularisation.
- Follow up on development cost, tooling cost and first-order commercial closure.
3.5 Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with PPC, Engineering, Production, Quality, Dispatch and Accounts to ensure smooth order execution.
- Coordinate resolution of customer complaints and quality issues with the Quality department, including 8D / CAPA responses and closure with the customer.
