About Us: Ferrum Tech Industries manufactures road safety products including hot-melt thermoplastic road marking materials, road signs, W-beam crash barriers, and related safety hardware. We supply to government agencies, contractors, and infrastructure companies, and focus on quality, regulatory compliance, and durable products for highway and municipal projects.
Role Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Executive to develop and grow our institutional and government market. The role combines field sales, relationship building, and market intelligence to secure project orders and strategic partnerships with government departments, EPC contractors, and road safety consignors. Key Responsibilities: Business development: Identify and pursue leads with government departments (PWD, NHAI, MORTH, state road agencies), contractors, consultants, and OEMs. Client meetings: Arrange and conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for project decision-makers and procurement officers. Tender management support: Monitor government tender portals, shortlist relevant tenders.
Relationship management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, procurement officers, and specification writers; arrange site visits and technical meetings.
Product positioning: Communicate technical advantages of Ferrum Tech’s road marking materials, signs, and crash barriers; provide specification compliance information and case studies.
Market intelligence: Track competitor activity, pricing trends, product specifications, and upcoming projects; prepare periodic market reports and actionable recommendations.
Marketing collateral & events: Coordinate development of technical datasheets, presentations, and project references; represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and field seminars.
Coordination internally: Work with production, QA, and logistics teams to ensure product samples, test reports, and delivery timelines meet client requirements.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 3–6 years of field sales or business development experience in construction materials, infrastructure products, road safety products, or industrial manufacturing. Proven experience dealing with government tenders, contractors, or public procurement processes preferred. Technical aptitude to understand product specifications and speak to engineers and procurement officers. Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi; local language proficiency is a plus. Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently (interstate).
Skills & Attributes: Target-driven with demonstrated ability to close institutional deals. High interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with senior officials and engineers. Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines. Basic IT skills: MS Office, email; familiarity with tender portals and Excel-based reporting.
