Job Title: PGT – Physics
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics — mandatory. B.Ed. also required. NET/CTET/state-level TET or SET qualification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Physics at the senior secondary level (Grades 11–12), with a strong track record of board exam results.
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Physics lessons for Grades 11–12, aligned with Rainbow International School's curriculum and board requirements (CBSE Board )
- Simplify complex physics concepts through demonstrations, practical experiments, and real-world applications
- Design and conduct laboratory experiments; ensure proper use and maintenance of lab equipment and safety protocols
- Prepare students for board exams, competitive exams (JEE/NEET, if applicable), and internal assessments
- Set question papers, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain accurate academic records
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support or enrichment activities as needed
- Use technology, simulations, and interactive teaching aids to enhance student engagement
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events
- Mentor students for science exhibitions, Olympiads, and related academic competitions
- Coordinate with the Science Department Head on curriculum planning and academic progress tracking
Skills Required:
- Strong command over Physics concepts and numerical problem-solving
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in conducting lab-based practical sessions
- Ability to use digital tools/smart classrooms for teaching
- Analytical and result-oriented approach to student performance
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
