Job Summary
The Accounts & Finance Manager is responsible for managing the complete accounting, financial planning, taxation, budgeting, and fund management activities of construction and NHAI road maintenance projects from the Head Office. The role includes project accounting, statutory compliance, vendor management, payroll monitoring, and financial reporting to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle overall accounts and finance operations for all company projects and head office activities.
- Maintain and monitor:
- Project-wise accounts
- Cash flow management
- Bank transactions
- Daily financial records
- Petty cash statements
- Verify and process:
- Vendor bills
- Subcontractor bills
- Fuel and transport bills
- Machinery hire bills
- Employee reimbursements and salary payments
- Prepare and maintain:
- GST returns
- TDS deductions and filings
- Ledger accounts
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss statements
- MIS reports
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and store departments regarding:
- Material purchases
- Site expenses
- Running bills
- Client billing status
- Fund requirements
- Monitor project budgets and control unnecessary expenditures.
- Handle client billing and payment follow-up related to NHAI and maintenance projects.
- Ensure timely payments to:
- Vendors
- Suppliers
- Employees
- Government/statutory authorities
- Maintain records related to:
- Work orders
- Performance Bank Guarantees (BG)
- Security Deposits
- RA Bills
- Project agreements and invoices
- Conduct bank reconciliation and coordinate for:
- NEFT/RTGS transactions
- Cheque issuance
- Loan documentation
- BG processing
- Coordinate with auditors, Chartered Accountants, and tax consultants for statutory compliance and audits.
- Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and finance management
- Experience in construction/project accounting
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance
- Budget planning and cash flow management
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Strong coordination and communication abilities
Software Knowledge
- Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- MS Excel & MS Office
- ERP/accounting software preferred
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in construction/infrastructure industry preferred.
- Experience in NHAI/highway maintenance project accounting will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
