Legal Assistant / Back Office Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team with contract drafting assistance, documentation, and record-keeping. This is a great opportunity for a fresher or early-career candidate to gain hands-on exposure to real estate legal processes and contract management within a fast-paced developer organization.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Documentation Support
- Assist the legal team in drafting and amending contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents based on standard templates and inputs from lawyers
- Update and format agreements as per revisions/instructions from the legal team
- Maintain version control of contracts and track pending amendments/approvals
Documentation & Records Management
- Organize, file, and maintain physical and digital records of contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
- Scan, upload, and systematically archive documents, ensuring easy retrieval and proper naming/filing conventions
- Maintain trackers/registers for agreements — execution status, renewal dates, expiry, and key milestones
Coordination & Back Office Support
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, projects, finance) to collect documents/information required for agreement drafting
- Liaise with external counsel, vendors, or stamping/registration authorities as needed for documentation formalities
- Support the legal team with data entry, MIS reports, and status updates on ongoing matters
General Administrative Support
- Ensure timely follow-ups on document signatures, stamping, and notarization
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and business documents
- Assist with ad-hoc research or compilation tasks as required by the legal team
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; a Bachelor's in Law (LLB) or paralegal certification is a plus but not mandatory
- 0–2 years; freshers with strong drafting/documentation aptitude are encouraged to apply
- Good written English and attention to detail — ability to draft/edit documents accurately
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable with scanning/document management tools
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and record-keeping discipline
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Willingness to learn real estate-specific legal and regulatory documentation (RERA, sale agreements, lease deeds, etc.)
